Background of the invention
The present invention relates to the field of wall installations and storage systems, which are generally intended to be installed in living areas, such as for example the kitchen, the bathroom, the garage, or any other part of a house or an apartment.
It is known that the average living space per person, especially in urban areas, tends to decrease, particularly because of the high price of real estate. However, the number of possessed objects continues to grow, so that individuals need more and more storage solutions.
To store things, it is known to use cupboards or cabinets, or to set shelves to a wall. However, cupboards and cabinets are bulky storage systems, sometimes difficult to install and not very flexible. In addition, more and more stores offer furniture or shelves to assemble oneself, which can be tedious. Not only is it not easy to fix shelves to a wall, but it becomes particularly complex if we must then move them, for example to change the arrangement of shelves.
Object and summary of the invention
The present invention aims to solve, among others, the shortcomings described above wall installations and storage systems known from the prior art, by proposing a wall installation for storage that can be fixed easily and securely to a wall wall.
This object is achieved by the fact that the invention relates first of all to a wall installation comprising at least a first and a second upright respectively having first and second longitudinal directions and being configured to removably receive a first and a second longitudinal direction respectively. a second device for fixing a storage accessory, the first and second fixing devices being spaced apart from each other by a first distance, the first and second uprights respectively comprising at least a first and a second means of upper fasteners configured to attach the first and second posts to a wall wall; in addition, at least the first upright comprises at least one first locating means, the first locating means and the first upper securing means being spaced apart from each other by the first distance.
The wall wall is for example a vertical wall, such as a wall or a partition. The wall installation is fixed, for example by screwing, inter alia via the first and second upper fastening means, to the wall wall. The storage accessory, configured to be fixed to the first and second uprights, is arranged to be removably attached to the wall installation, without tools.
The presence of the first marking means, located at a distance from the first upper fixing means substantially identical to the distance between the first and second attachment devices of the storage accessory intended to be respectively fixed to the first and second amounts of the wall installation, facilitates the fixing of the wall installation, and more particularly makes it possible not to require additional tools and tedious operations to arrange the first and second amounts in a manner suitable for fixing the storage accessory .
In other words, the presence of the first marking means, in particular because of its arrangement relative to the first upper fastening means, contributes to the ease, and hence the reliability, of the fixing of the wall installation on the wall wall.
Preferably, the first distance is considered between the first axis passing through the first upper fastening means of the first upright, and the first locating means.
Advantageously, the first distance is considered between the center of the first and second fixing devices of the storage accessory. The invention is described below in a series of alternative embodiments, which may be considered alone or in combination with one or more of the previous ones.
Advantageously, the first locating means comprises a fixing orifice for the wall fixing of the first amount.
The presence of the mounting hole improves the strength and stability of the attachment of the first upright on the wall.
Advantageously, the first locating means comprises a locating orifice.
It is thus clear that the first distance is defined as the distance separating the first axis passing through the first upper fixing means and a second axis passing through the locating orifice of the first locating means.
According to a preferred embodiment, the locating means comprises a single orifice forming both fixing orifice and locating orifice. The locating orifice facilitates the operation of identifying on the wall wall the position corresponding to the first locating means, when mounting the wall installation on the wall wall; it is thus possible to provide the passage of a pencil lead or a pen tip or a pointed tip through said locating orifice, to make a mark on the wall wall.
Preferably, the first upright comprises first and second longitudinal members extending substantially parallel to each other.
The first and second longitudinal members are spaced apart from one another and extend in a direction substantially parallel to each other, preferably in a direction substantially parallel to the first longitudinal direction of the first upright; the first and second longitudinal elements thus make it possible to facilitate the fixing of the first fastening device of the storage accessory intended to be fixed on the wall installation, the space formed between the longitudinal elements facilitating cooperation with the first fastening device of the storage accessory.
In addition, the presence of the longitudinal elements makes it possible to better distribute the forces exerted by the storage accessory when removably attached to the wall installation; the longitudinal elements thus contribute to the strength of the wall mounting of the first amount.
Advantageously, the first locating means comprises a fixed plate, for example welded, to the first and second longitudinal elements.
By this arrangement, the stabilization of the first marking means, during the mounting step, is improved, which contributes to the accuracy of the identification of the position of the first marking means, and therefore contributes to the reliability of fixing the wall installation on the wall.
Advantageously, the first upper attachment means is configured to allow the first leg to pivot in the plane of the wall wall about an axis perpendicular to the first longitudinal direction.
This feature of the first upper attachment means facilitates the movement of the first post relative to the wall, and hence the mounting of the wall installation.
The presence of the first upper fastening means thus allows the first amount to be moved in a single degree of freedom, in the plane of the wall wall.
Preferably, the first and second uprights respectively comprise a first and a second mounting means configured to cooperate respectively with the first and second fixing devices of the storage accessory.
The presence of the first and second mounting means facilitates the removable attachment of the storage accessory, and more particularly of its first and second fasteners, on the first and second uprights of the wall installation.
Advantageously, the first and second mounting means each comprise at least a first upper cross member and a first lower crosspiece configured to cooperate respectively with an upper end portion and a lower end portion of the first and second fasteners.
The presence of the first lower and upper rails on each of the first and second mounting means contributes to the strength and stability of the removable attachment of the storage accessory on the first and second uprights of the wall installation.
Advantageously, the first and second uprights further include a first and a second lower attachment means configured to attach the first and second uprights to the wall wall.
The first and second lower fastening means further improve the wall attachment of the first and second uprights; they thus contribute to the solidity of the fixation of the wall installation on the wall wall. The invention also relates to a storage system comprising a wall installation according to the present invention, and a storage accessory having a first and a second fixing device spaced apart from each other by a first distance, the first and second second securing devices being configured to be releasably attached to the first and second posts, respectively.
Advantageously, the storage accessory comprises at least one storage element, for example a support element, which is integral with the fasteners; the storage element is intended to carry the item (s) to be stored. The storage accessory can be of any type. Advantageously, but not limited to, it comprises a hook, a receptacle, a tray, a towel rack or a bottle holder.
This makes it easy to mount the storage system and can quickly and effortlessly change the configuration. The user can then use one or more storage accessories, according to, among other things, his needs, the size of the wall installation and the dimensions of the space surrounding the area of the wall wall on which is fixed. storage facility. In addition, this easy assembly allows the user to move or remove the storage accessories he no longer uses, or to replace them with other storage accessories better suited to his needs.
In addition, thanks to the invention, the user can equip themselves with new storage accessories and mount them to the wall installation, in order to create his own storage system, so that it corresponds to his needs and his desires. In other words, the storage system according to the invention is easily customizable and flexible.
Preferably, the storage system comprises a wall installation of which the first and second uprights each comprise first and second upper and lower crosspieces, the first and second fastening devices of the storage accessory each comprising an upper end portion and a portion. lower end members configured to cooperate respectively with an upper portion of the first upper sleepers and with the first lower sleepers of the first and second uprights.
The first lower and upper rails of the first and second uprights and the upper and lower end portions of the first and second fasteners contribute to the ease and stability of the removable attachment of the storage accessory to the wall installation ; it is thus understood that the load of the storage accessory and any objects that may be related thereto is distributed on the sleepers of the first and second amounts.
Advantageously, the upper end portions each form a hook arranged to cooperate with the first upper rails of the first and second uprights.
The hook shape of the upper end portions of the first and second fasteners of the storage accessory further enhances the ease and strength of the removable fastener of the storage accessory on the first and second posts of the installation wall. Preferably, the hook engages with the upper part of the first upper rails.
For example and without limitation, the fasteners comprise a plate-shaped body and the hook extends from the upper end of said body.
Preferably, the hooks extend between the first upper cross member and the wall wall when the fastening devices of the storage accessory are hooked to the wall installation, and that the first and second posts are fixed to the wall wall, the hooks bearing above the first upper rails.
After the removable attachment of the storage accessory to the wall installation, its fasteners are secured to the wall installation by the fact that the upper end portion of the fasteners cooperates with the upper part of the first upper sleepers. Moreover, when the storage accessory is hooked to the wall installation, its fasteners come into contact with at least the first lower cross member of the first and second uprights, in order to stabilize the fasteners in the vertical position.
Advantageously, the first and second fasteners have a rear face configured to face the wall wall when the first and second posts are attached to the wall and the storage accessory is removably attached to the first and second walls. second amounts, the storage accessory further comprising a coating layer disposed on each of the rear faces.
The coating layers firstly make it possible not to degrade the surface of the first and second uprights with which the storage accessory is in contact when it is removably attached to the wall installation, and more particularly the surface of the first and second mounting means, so as to allow easy modification of the arrangement of the storage accessory / accessories on the wall installation, if necessary repeatedly.
In addition, the coating layers reduce the clearance that could exist between the storage accessory and the wall installation, once the storage accessory has been attached to the first and second amounts, thereby contributing to the strength and the stability of the storage system.
Preferably, the coating layers comprise a layer of flexible, elastic material, such as foam.
According to an advantageous embodiment, at least one of the first lower and upper rails of the first and second mounting means further comprises an adhesion device for improving the adhesion of the attachment devices of the storage accessory to said sleepers. . It is understood that the adhesion device opposes the displacement of the fasteners relative to the first upper rails of the first and second uprights. This prevents the fasteners from pivoting about the axis of the first upper cross, or they are translated in a direction parallel to said first cross. The adhesion device can form a single piece with the wall installation or be an insert. Preferably, it is a plastic or rubber part. The invention also relates to an installation kit comprising a wall installation according to the present invention, and a control means configured to be fixed on the first upright and to make it possible to control that the first longitudinal direction extends in a direction substantially horizontally during the mounting step.
Advantageously, the control means is configured to be removably attached to the first amount.
The presence of the control means and its ability to be fixed on the first amount contribute to the ease and reliability of fixing the wall installation and, consequently, the strength and stability of the mounting of the storage system . In addition, the attachment, preferably removable, the control means on the first amount does not require the use of additional tools, and allows the user to overcome the need to be assisted by another nobody to fix the storage facility.
Advantageously, one of the elements taken from the first upright and the control means comprises a metal portion, the other element comprising a magnetized portion.
Preferably, the control means comprises a spirit level.
The presence of a spirit level makes it easy and reliable to control that the first longitudinal direction extends in a substantially horizontal direction.
Preferably, the spirit level comprises a magnetized portion, so as to be easily and effectively attached to the first upright, and more particularly to a metal portion of said first upright.
By this arrangement, the user is not obliged to maintain the control means on the first upright, and can thus easily locate the position corresponding to the first locating means on the wall wall, after having made sure in a direct way of the horizontality of the first amount.
Finally, the invention relates to a method of mounting on a wall wall of a wall installation according to the present invention, wherein: - fixed on the wall wall the first upper fastening means of the first amount; the first post is pivoted in the plane of the wall wall around the first upper fastening means, so that the first longitudinal direction extends in a substantially horizontal direction; - Identify on the wall wall a fixing position corresponding to the position of the first means of locating the first amount; the first post is pivoted in the plane of the wall wall around the first upper fastening means, so as to expose the fastening position; the second upper fastening means of the second upright is fixed to the fastening position.
Advantageously, but not exclusively, identification on the wall of the fixing position is achieved by marking, for example by means of a pencil, a pen or a pointed element.
It is understood that the user does not require outside assistance and can easily and quickly, without special provisions for DIY, mount on a wall wall the first and second amounts of the wall installation according to the present invention.
Advantageously, in the mounting method: - further provides a storage accessory comprising a first and a second fasteners spaced from each other the first distance; the first and second uprights are arranged so that the first and second longitudinal directions extend in a substantially vertical direction; the first and second fastening devices are fixed in a removable manner to the first and second uprights, respectively.
Preferably, the first and second lower fastening means of the first and second uprights are fixed to the wall wall. The assembly of the steps of the mounting method according to the present invention thus provides a storage structure comprising a wall installation and at least one storage accessory easily mounted in a stable and solid manner on a wall, so as to constitute a storage system adaptable to the different needs of the user.

Detailed description of the invention
The storage system 8 according to the present invention first comprises a wall installation 10, shown in particular in Figure 1. The wall installation 10 comprises a first and a second uprights 20, 120. The first amount 20 of the wall installation 10 has a first longitudinal direction L1 and first and second longitudinal members 22, 24 extending substantially parallel to the first longitudinal direction L1.
As shown in particular in FIG. 1, the first and second longitudinal members 22, 24 of the first upright 20 extend substantially parallel to each other while being spaced apart from one another distance D.
The first upright 20 further comprises a plurality of pairs 30, 30 ', 30 "of crosspieces which extend between the first and second longitudinal members 22, 24. In this example, the first upright 20 has fourteen pairs of sleepers of which only some, for the sake of clarity, have been referenced.
As shown particularly in FIG. 1, when the first upright 20 is arranged in such a way that the first longitudinal direction L1 extends in a substantially vertical direction, the crosspieces of the pairs 30, 30 ', 30 "extend according to a substantially horizontal direction.
The pairs 30, 30 ', 30 "of sleepers are regularly spaced from each other, the distance separating two sleepers within a pair of sleepers is, for example and without limitation, identical to a pair of sleepers. the other, in other words, the crosspieces 30a and 30b of a first pair of crosspieces 30 have a spacing e which is the same as that existing between the crosspieces 30'a and 30'b of a second pair of crosspieces 30 ' Furthermore, the crosspieces of the first upright 20 of the wall installation 10 have, for example and without limitation, circular cross sections.
For example, and in a nonlimiting manner, the sleepers are constituted by cylindrical metal rods.
Moreover, it can be seen that the distance E between two pairs of consecutive crosspieces is substantially greater than the distance e between two cross members of the same pair of crosspieces.
Moreover, it can be seen, in particular with the observation of FIG. 8, that the first and second longitudinal members 22, 24 are arranged behind the crosspieces, that is to say that the first and second longitudinal elements 22, 24 are arranged between the wall wall M on which the wall installation 10 is intended to be fixed, and the cross members, when the wall installation 10 is fixed to the wall wall M.
In this example, the longitudinal elements and the cross members are made of metal.
If one is more particularly interested in two pairs of adjacent sleepers, for example the pairs of sleepers of the first upright 20 referenced 30, 30 'and shown in FIG. 1, which are here called pair of upper sleepers 30 and pair of lower cross members 30 ', it is found that the pair of upper cross members 30 has a first upper cross member 30a and a second upper cross member 30b, disposed under the first upper cross member 30a. Furthermore, the pair of lower rails 30 'has a first lower cross 30'a and a second lower cross 30¾.
For example and without limitation, the first upper cross member 30a and the first lower cross member 30'a are parallel and transversely spaced from each other by the distance E which is substantially equal to the distance separating the second upper cross member 30b and the second lower cross 30'b.
The first upright 20 further comprises a first upper attachment means 40 and a first lower attachment means 42; for example and without limitation, the first upper and lower attachment means 40, 42 each comprise a plate disposed between two cross members of a pair of crosspieces. Furthermore, the plates of the upper attachment means 40 and lower 42 are fixed, for example welded, to the longitudinal elements 22, 24.
In addition, the first upper and lower attachment means 40, 42 each comprise an attachment hole 44, 46, for example formed in their respective plate.
The first upper attachment means 40 has a first axis, passing through the attachment hole 44, and around which the first post 20 can be pivoted, when the first upper attachment means 40 is attached to a wall wall.
Furthermore, the first upright 20 includes a first locating means 48; for example and without limitation, the first locating means 48 comprises a plate secured, for example by welding, to the first and second longitudinal members 22, 24.
As represented in particular in FIG. 1, the first locating means 48 comprises a fixing orifice 50, the fixing orifice 50 constituting, for example and without limitation, also a locating orifice whose utility will appear more clearly in the following description. Of course, without departing from the scope of the present invention, it would be conceivable to design a first locating means 48 having fixing and marking orifices remote and distinct from one another.
The first locating means 48 has a second axis passing through the locating orifice 50.
As shown in Figure 1, the first locating means 48 is remote from the first upper attachment means 40 by a first distance d; more particularly, the locating orifice and the fixing orifice 44 of the first upper fastening means 40 are spaced from each other by the first distance d. In other words, the first and second axes passing respectively through the attachment hole 44 of the first upper attachment means 40 and through the locating hole of the first locating means 48 are distant from each other first distance d.
Similarly, the second upright 120 of the wall installation 10 has a second longitudinal direction L2 and first and second longitudinal members 122,124 extending substantially parallel to each other, along the second longitudinal direction L2, the first and second longitudinal members 122, 124 being spaced from each other by the distance D, for example identical to that separating the first and second longitudinal members 22, 24 from the first upright 20.
Similar to the first upright 20, the second upright 120 also includes pairs of horizontal cross members 130, 130 ', 130 ", and second upper and lower attachment means 140 and 142.
As will become more apparent in the following description, the pairs of horizontal crosspieces 30, 30 ', 30 ", 130, 130', 130" of the first and second uprights 20, 120 form mounting means.
For example and without limitation, the second amount 120 also comprises a second locating means 148, comprising for example a plate secured to the first and second longitudinal members 122, 124 and in which are formed fixing and locating holes. The second locating means 148 is remote from the second upper attachment means 140 of the first distance d, so that the user can use the first or the second post interchangeably for mounting the storage system 8.
One could also design first and second uprights 20, 120 whose locating means would be arranged equidistantly from the upper attachment means 40, 140 and lower 42, 142, so that the user can use, for mounting the system storage 8 which will be described in more detail in the following description, the first and second uprights 20, 120 in one or other of the directions defined by their respective longitudinal direction L1, L2.
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the first and second uprights 20, 120 have an identical structure; it could however conceive, without departing from the scope of the present invention, a wall installation 10, the first and second uprights 20, 120 have differences, and in particular a second amount 120 which would not include second locating means.
The storage system 8 according to the present invention also comprises a storage accessory 80, an example of which is shown in FIG. 2; the storage accessory 80 is configured to be removably mounted to the wall installation 10, and more particularly to each of the first and second uprights 20, 120. The example of a storage accessory 80 shown in FIG. a storage element 82, for example having the shape of a rod for receiving an object such as a towel.
In addition, the storage accessory 80 includes first and second fasteners 84, 86 spaced from each other by the first distance d.
As shown in Figure 2, the first and second fasteners 84, 86 each comprise a body 88, 90 here having the shape of a substantially rectangular plate. The first and second fasteners 84, 86 comprise an upper end portion 92, 94 each forming a hook and a lower end portion 96, 98. The upper end portions 92, 94 and the end portions lower portions 96, 98 respectively extend from the upper and lower ends of the body 88, 90.
It appears, in particular with the observation of FIG. 2, that the bodies of the first and second fixing devices 84, 86 have a width; the first distance d separating the first and second fastening devices 84, 86 thus denotes the distance separating the center of the bodies 88, 90 from the fixing devices 84, 86.
The bodies 88, 90 of the fixing devices 84, 86 each have a front face 88a, 90a and a rear face 88b, 90b opposite to the front face, the front face being that facing the storage element 82. More specifically, the storage element 82 is fixed integrally to the front face 88a, 90a of the first and second fixing devices 84, 86.
The rear faces 88b, 90b of the fasteners 84, 86 are substantially planar and have a coating layer 95 whose utility will become more clearly apparent thereafter.
Figures 3 to 7 show the different steps of the method of mounting on a wall wall M of the storage system 8 according to the present invention.
The first upper fixing means 40 of the first upright 20 is fixed firstly to the wall wall M, for example by means of a screw passed through the fixing orifice 44 of the first upper fixing means 40.
Then, for example, in a removable manner, a control means 100 is fixed to the first upright 20, for example to one of its longitudinal elements 22, 24. The invention thus also relates to an installation kit comprising the wall installation 10 and the control means 100.
The first upright 20 is then pivoted in the plane of the wall wall M around the first upper fastening means 40, more particularly around the first axis passing through the fixing orifice 42 of the first upper fastening means 40, so that the first longitudinal direction L1 extends in a substantially horizontal direction.
For example and without limitation, the control means 100 comprises a spirit level, the control means 100 is thus configured to allow to control that the first longitudinal direction L1 of the first upright 20 extends well in a substantially horizontal direction , following its pivoting around the first upper fastening means 40 in the plane of the wall wall M.
Then, and as shown in Figure 4, is identified on the wall M a fixing position F corresponding to the position of the first locating means 48 of the first upright 20, and more particularly corresponding to the position of the orifice of locating 50 of the first locating means 48.
For example and in a nonlimiting manner, the identification of the fixing position F is carried out by the marking of said position by means of the lead of a pen passed through the locating orifice of the first locating means 48.
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, the first upright 20 is rotated in the plane of the wall wall M around the first axis passing through the fixing orifice 42 of the first upper fastening means 40, so as to expose the position F.
It thus appears that the distance separating the first upper fixing means 40, and more particularly the axis of the fastening element passed through the fixing orifice 42, from the fixing position F identified previously is equal to the first distance d separating the first upper fastening means 40 and the first locating means 48 of the first upright 20.
The second upper fastening means 140 of the second post 120 is then fastened to the fastening position F, for example by means of a screw passed through the fastening orifice 142 of the second upper fastening means 140.
In particular, the action of the gravity on the first and second uprights 20, 120 of the wall installation 10, as a result of the fixing on the wall wall M of the first upper fastening means 40 and the second means in which the first and second longitudinal directions L1, L2 extend substantially parallel to one another, preferably in a substantially vertical direction.
In order to favor the arrangement of the first and second longitudinal directions L1, L2 in a substantially vertical direction, the storage accessory 80 can be removably attached to the crosspieces disposed near the first and second lower fastening means 42, 142.
The storage accessory 80, described above, is then provided and the first and second fasteners 84, 86 are releasably secured to the first and second uprights 20, 120.
More particularly, the first and second fixing devices 84, 86 cooperate with the pairs of horizontal crosspieces 30, 30 ', 130, 130' of the first and second uprights 20, 120 to allow the removable attachment of the storage accessory 80 on the wall installation 10. The fastening orifice 42 of the first upper fastening means 40 and the locating orifice of the first locating means 48, on the one hand, and the fastening orifice 142 of the second upper fastening means 140, on the other hand, being arranged respectively substantially equidistant longitudinal elements 22, 24, 122, 124 of the first and second uprights 20, 120, the first distance d between the locating orifice and the fixing hole 42 the first upper fastening means 40 substantially corresponds to the distance separating the axis of symmetry of the first and second uprights 20,120.
It is therefore understood that, as a result of the fixing of the first and second uprights 20, 120 on the wall wall M in accordance with the various steps described above, the wall installation 10 is arranged in such a way that its uprights 20, 120 are distant from the first distance d, so as to receive the fixing devices 84, 86 of the storage accessory 80.
As appears in particular in Figure 8, which shows a cross section of the storage system 8, when the storage accessory 80 has been removably attached to the wall installation 10, it is found that the upper section of the hook formed by the upper end portion 94 of the second attachment device 86 extends to the rear of the first upper cross member 130a while bearing on substantially one half of the upper portion of the second upper cross member 130b. Furthermore, the lower end portion 98 of the second fastener 86 is coupled with the first lower cross member 130'a to block the pivoting of the second fastener 86 around the first upper cross member 130a.
As shown in particular in FIG. 8, the covering layer 95 fixed on the rear face 90b of the fixing device 86 is arranged to damp the contact between the storage accessory 80 and the wall installation 10.
It is therefore understood that the first and second uprights 20, 120 comprise first and second mounting means which respectively comprise the first and second upper rails 30a, 30'a, 30b, 30'b, and the first lower rails 130a, 130 ' at.
As shown in FIG. 7, the wall mounting of the storage system 8 may comprise an additional step of attaching the first and second lower fastening means 42, 142 of the first and second uprights 20, 120 to the wall wall M.
Figures 9 and 10 schematically show other examples of storage accessories 80 ', 80 "according to the present invention, similarly to the storage accessory 80 described with reference to Figure 2, the storage accessories 80' , 80 "each comprise first fasteners 84 ', 86', 84", 86 "spaced from each other by the first distance d, and a storage member 82 ', 82"; storage accessories 80 ', 80 "are thus configured to be removably attached to the first and second posts 20, 120 of the wall installation 10 when they have been attached to the wall wall M being spaced apart from the first distance d. For example and without limitation, the storage elements 82 ', 82 "storage accessories 80', 80" have the form of a towel rail and a bottle holder.
Of course, without departing from the scope of the present invention, storage accessories having any other type of storage unit could be conceived.
Furthermore, in the example described with reference to the various figures, the first upright 20 comprises a single locating means 48; it is quite possible to design a wall installation 10 of which at least the first upright 20 would comprise a plurality of marking means, arranged at different distances from the first upper fixing means 40, so as to allow the wall fixing of wall installations adapted to different types of storage accessories, and more particularly to storage accessories whose fasteners have different spacings.
In particular, because of the presence of the longitudinal members 22, 24, 122, 124 spaced apart from one another, the storage system according to the present invention can also cooperate with storage accessories comprising a single fixing device.
